I played my best tennis last night.
There was a point before that where I got really frustrated with my game—especially my forehand. My first instinct was to just train more. Spend hours on court, drilling the same patterns over and over, trying to understand my technique and fix everything.
But over the past 6 months, I didn’t have that luxury. My schedule got busy, so I had to cut back on training.
Instead, I started doing shorter sessions—usually less than 60 minutes—but with full focus. No distractions. Just being completely locked in on what I was working on.
And honestly, it changed my game.
I feel more relaxed now. More loose. Less forced.
It made me realize there’s something to training less, but training better.
Quality over quantity.
