There is something about simplicity that attracts me. When things are simple, I get that feeling of peace. It is almost meditative.
I remember getting hold of my first iPod shuffle back in the early 2000’s. I was absolutely inspired by its simplicity! A tiny device with a play button in the center. I put my headphones in, press play, and I’m ready to work out!

For project management, I use Basecamp. I am a fan of Basecamp because it is not overwhelming. It only has limited features and I am happy with that. I tried Asana and Monday before, but I could not get over how complicated it was to use. I didn’t need all the features that they offered.
In boxing and Muay Thai, you only need to master the fundamentals to be effective. A consistent and perfectly timed jab is more effective than trying to 6 or 7 combinations. Likewise, a snappy roundhouse kick is also more effective than trying to learn many different kick, punch, elbow combinations.
Radical simplicity is reducing complexity to its essential components. You only need the essentials. You only need to learn the fundamentals. You only need a few features. You only need a few things to be effective.
